On this gorgeous Thanksgiving weekend we hiked about 20km on the Bruce Trail from the beginning of Iroquoia Club to Devil’s Punch Bowl. If you’ve ever driven down the QEW towards Niagara and eyed the long escarpment to the West, that’s where we hiked. We passed waterfalls while climbing the escarpment and there were so many stairs! Perhaps a local Grimsby norm… we saw 3 separate cat owners, walking their cats along the escarpment.

There are several great lookouts over Grimsby and Lake Ontario. There is a 2km road segment before the trail eventually takes hikers to lower tree covered ground.

Checkout the snakes we spotted and so many kinds of mushrooms and fungi.
