We started by the Forks of the Credit Inn and made our way in past beautiful fall florals. I had walked the Forks of Credit back in 2010 with my family over Thanksgiving and was less than impressed. However, this trail came across as immediately more lovely.
We soon came to a bridge that crossed the rail tracks. It gave a serene view of the trees just turning for Fall.
My daughter and I walked with our friends and their two youngest. The sumac canopy was perfect for young imaginations.
Even in mid September the flowers provided bright shots of oranges, reds and delicate touches of purples and whites.
Much of this trail goes through an old farm.
We explored an old farm silo. We weren’t the first. XO
