This Summer is turning out to have a few themes including Canadian National Parks and UNESCO sites. The most recent jaunt took us to Bruce Peninsula National Park and Fathom Five National Marine Park. It is a bit of a trek from Toronto. We drove different highways there and back to break-up the monotony.
It was well worth the drive and if you’ve never been make plans to go. There is something for most everyone. Two days just wasn’t enough.
Bruce Peninsula has so much to offer, from the sandy floored , warm soft waters of Cyprus Lake to the famed Grotto and the wildlife in between.
Flowerpot Island in Fathom Five is a fantastic place to visit. It is hard to believe that water like this exists in Ontario.
Already making mental plans to return. This is Ontario!
