We parked at kilometre 36.1. We hiked to the Bruce Trail to the Great Esker Side Trail, did the loop and continued to 31.2 km.

We then took Maureen Smith Side Trail over to Bennet Heritage Side Trail and took that back to the Bruce Trail close to where we began and then returned to the car.

The trail was very picturesque with many ups and downs. One needed good legs and winter spikes. I got a pair from Costco one year and a pair of Kahtoola EXOspikes from New Balance at the end of 2020.
