This is the 3rd year I’ve done Big On Bloor. This year I was asked to facilitate mask making to highlight wildlife that lives around us in our urban habitat.
This project took a ton of prep work. First I copied the masks onto card stock and then had to cut out and pre-score all of the fold lines. I knew folding and assembly would take a lot of time.
Participates could choose from Foxes, Rabbits, Bears and Birds.
I had two great helpers to get me through the 3 hours.
Instructions for each kind of mask were taped to the table for additional reference. The day was super humid, which affected glue sticks. Thankfully I had brought clear tape for backup.

The bird was the hardest of them all.
