Blantyre is the end point of the Beaver Valley Club section of the Bruce Trail. We hiked 22km South East from here to get to the Epping John Muir Lookout. Overall, I would rate this the easiest section of the Beaver Valley Club. It has a couple of beautiful waterfalls, that must look fantastic in the Spring. We saw views of Georgian Bay, we found another adult playground in the some of the rocks and found mysterious fallen blue leaves.
This is a jam packed video that included some off trail experiences. Before, I take you along with us on our hike, I share some short clips of winterizing my sailboat, the Day of the Dead celebration at the Brick Works, a film screening of my friend Esteban Powell’s film Vela, and visiting the KAWS exhibit at the Art Gallery of Ontario
As well, you may or may not know, I am also an artist and enjoy painting watercolours inspired by my outdoor experiences. I show a little bit of preparing some art for an upcoming show being held from December 7-24, 2023 at The Worth Gallery on Dundas West in Toronto.
