Following my minor toe surgery post WCT, my parents took us on a little hike in the Top Man Bridge area of Englishman River Park. Yay, another suspension bridge. This one is sided with actual steel mesh.

This is know for mountain biking, but also a popular swimming hole on hot days., which it was not.

When we returned to our car we heard what sounded like a cock-a-doodle-doo, but couldn’t figure out where it was coming from until we drove a little out of the parking lot.

Then we spotted this proud guy calling away.  Our first forest rooster.
